For last so many days Raj Thackre is talking about the Maratha Manus. He has talked about Turban case pleaded by Manmohan Singh, Amitabh' opening of a college in U.P., Saurav Ganguly's exclusion from team, Karunanidhi's step about Malaysian Tamils and so on. He has asked if these celebrities are right in propagating and taking side, then why he is blamed for regionalism when he talkes about Marathi Manus?
There is no harm when you talk about upliftment of your community. But it becomes harmful when you create hatred against other communities. Non of the persons as quoted by Raj has pleaded for someone at the cost of other communities and niether they have blamed others as Raj is doing.
Manmohan Singh did not ask French people to wear turban. He has only sought releif for Sikhs. Amitabh has helped in opening an institution in Maharashtra. Bengalis pleaded for Saurav but did not ask for dismissal of any other player, Karunanidhi also pleaded for Tamils but did not passed any sarcastic remarks against Malayasians.
Raj is talking about Marathi culture. How chhath is coming in the way of marathi culture? If he does not want to allow then how any state's people will allow celeberations of festivals of other states? As per his theory Durga Pooja can not be allowed outside West Bengal. Pongal should not be celeberated outside Southren States. Holy Can be celeberated in North, Mahrashtrian festivals in Maharashtra only.
If he is opposed to open local jobs to all india basis then how Maharashtrian can apply for jobs in other states? That way this controversy will lead the nation to a no return point. No right thinking person will like this situation.
